Permanent Jewellery FAQs
How does permanent jewellery work?
A fine chain is fitted to your wrist, ankle, or neck and gently welded so there’s no clasp. It’s quick, safe, and painless. The chain is made from sterling silver or 9ct gold and is designed for everyday wear.
What if I need to remove my permanent jewellery?
If for any reason you need to remove your jewellery, most chains can be safely and carefully snipped at home with sharp scissors. For larger chains you may need to use jewellery snips - if possible please return to the studio to have your jewellery professionally removed free of charge.
If you’d like it re-welded later, you can bring it back to the studio - rewelding cost £10
How do I care for my welded bracelet?
Your permanent jewellery is designed to stay with you always. If tarnishing or dulling occurs you can gently polish with a soft cloth or wash with mild soap and water to restore its original shine.
Chains are welded to be worn day and night - but they are not indestructable. Care should be taken not to catch or tug the chain hard as stretching or breakages can occur
